Recruiting a personal chef requires careful planning to find the right fit for you or your household. It is recommended that you set up a test meal and commit to a 30-day trial period so you have an adequate amount of time to evaluate the service. Begin by defining your budget and your needs:

The services are defined by you. You can have a regular on going service every week, twice a month, or once a month. If you schedule on an “as needed” infrequent basis we will do our best to fit you into a spot if one becomes available. These spots are on a first-come first-serve and there is the possibility that there will not be a spot available. We are happy to add you to a waiting list. Start with something basic until you work out the details of the service, then you can upgrade later.
Chef Services Highlights:
You get good nutritious meals to support what you already have in place. Most entrees are good for 7 to 10 days. You skip store bought or restaurant food.
You get a variety of cuisines and can eat great food when it is convenient for you without going to the grocery store or having to wait at the restaurant.

How much does a private household chef service cost?
Costs vary based on location, experience, and requirements. Excluding the cost of food, the typically:
Average Price: ± $250 labor (approximately, 4 hours, ± 8-12 meals).Complexity and other factors have to be taken into account.
We have a two (2) hour minimum which is ± $150. A recipe yielding four (4) portions will be cooked. A driving fee may apply.
Rates depend on factors that include travel time, the numbers of meals, dietary requirements, menu design, coordination hours, grocery shopping considerations, equipment requirements, skill level, etc.
Additional Services: In Home Cooking Classes are billed separately.
Boutique Catering Service
A personal chef can cater according to your needs. Depending on your need and our schedule, anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks could be the required lead time. Describe your function and your budget. We are happy to share in making your event less stressful for you and more enjoyable. Our service is for drop-off at your home, pick-up at a farmers market, or in-home preparation.
If you like, we can guide you on how to plate the food in your own dishware or disposable party ware.
Typical Capacity:
We specialize in group sizes that are between 4 to 12 people. This is common for private dinner parties, in-home gatherings and small events.
